Nature Connect 2.0: A Day of Networking, Hiking, and Connection with Nature

On the 9th of June 2024, SustainKita hosted Nature Connect 2.0 at Kuala Lumpur’s Eco Forest Park, bringing together individuals passionate about sustainability, nature, and networking. The event was a huge success, blending outdoor adventure with meaningful connections.

A Morning of Networking in Nature

From 8:00 am to 10:00 am, participants laced up their hiking boots for a refreshing walk through the park’s lush greenery. Unlike traditional networking events, Nature Connect 2.0 fostered organic conversations amidst nature’s tranquility. Attendees, ranging from sustainability advocates to professionals from diverse industries, had the chance to connect, share ideas, and build relationships while enjoying the great outdoors.

The hike wasn’t just about networking—it was also an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with the environment. Participants took in the sights and sounds of KL’s Eco Forest Park, learning about the local ecosystem and the importance of preserving green spaces in the city. The serene surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for discussions on sustainability, climate action, and environmental stewardship.

The two-hour hike served as both a physical workout and a mental recharge. The combination of fresh air, exercise, and being surrounded by nature left everyone feeling refreshed and invigorated. Many participants shared that it was a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Looking Forward

Nature Connect 2.0 was more than just an event—it was a reminder of the power of community and the importance of stepping outdoors. SustainKita is thrilled with the positive feedback and looks forward to organizing future events that promote sustainability, health, and meaningful connections.

We’re excited to see where the next edition of Nature Connect will take us—so stay tuned for more opportunities to engage, explore, and connect with both nature and each other!
